The patio

Around the patio

Every room opens onto the patio, under its glass roof.

In the middle, a star-shaped fountain. Against the wall, a zellige fountain. All around, tables for tea and plants in ceramic pots.

“It’s picture perfect from all angles.”
Jon
“Let alone the beautiful Esmeralda home and decor.”

Carved plaster

The arches

Carved plaster arches, their edges cut into small lobes, frame the doors, the stairs and even some of the beds.

The decoration

Paintings everywhere

Paintings, photographs and works of art, from the patio to the rooms.

“This one was by far the best in every way. It’s a very beautiful riad with large paintings everywhere, even in the rooms.”
Danilo
“The owner and her staff really made our stay special.”
Jon

The rooftop

The rooftop

The top floor is a large terrace, under a blue lattice pergola on yellow beams.

By day, the lattice draws a chequerboard of shadow on the zellige floor. In the evening, the lanterns are lit.

“The rooftop with all the cozy places to sit and relax was definitely a highlight.”
